MCR Completes Renovation of Hampton Inn by Hilton in Toledo, Ohio

Hampton Inn by Hilton Toledo-Perrysburg’s New Design Features Updated Guestrooms and Public Spaces

January 26, 2016

MCR Development LLC (“MCR”), the seventh largest hotel owner-operator in the United States, today announced it has completed a renovation of the Hampton Inn & Suites Toledo-Perrysburg, a 98-room award-winning hotel located just minutes from numerous manufacturing, healthcare and leisure demand generators in Toledo, Ohio. Conveniently situated at the intersection of the Ohio Turnpike and Interstate 75, two of the most heavily traveled highways in Ohio, the hotel benefits from the high traffic volume generated by sporting events such as Pace Setter Soccer Invitational and the Jamie Farr Classic golf tournament, which draw thousands of families to Toledo area each year.

Named a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award winner, the Hampton Inn & Suites Toledo-Perrysburg underwent a comprehensive renovation that involved modernizing the hotel’s design to provide business and leisure travelers with a dynamic staying experience. By adding new comfortable and stylish furniture and décor to each guestroom, updating the lobby to create a more welcoming, open and convenient gathering space, and upgrading the technology and aesthetics in the meeting room, the hotel has significantly strengthened its competitive position in the Toledo market.

The Toledo area is home to numerous corporations including Johnson Controls, a Fortune 500 company, Flower Foods and First Solar, the world’s top solar contractor as ranked by Solar Power World, the industry’s leading source for technology, development and installation news. A number of healthcare demand generators and leisure attractions are just minutes from the hotel, including the headquarters of HCR Manor Care, one of the country’s largest providers of short-term and long-term healthcare, Hollywood Casino and the Toledo Zoo, named 2015’s “Best US Zoo” in the 10 Best Readers’ Choice contest organized by USA TODAY.
