MCR, the seventh largest hotel owner-operator in the United States, today announced it has completed a renovation of the Courtyard by Marriott Abilene Southwest/Abilene Mall South, a 100-room select-service hotel located in Abilene, Texas.
The newly renovated hotel features completely new furniture, carpeting, vinyl and décor throughout the lobby, guestrooms and business center. In addition, the fitness center was expanded, a new fire pit was added to the exterior courtyard and landscaping around the property was upgraded.
The hotel is close to many demand generators including Dyess Air Force Base, the country’s only training center for B-1 bomber crews, Expo Center of Taylor County, Abilene Christian University and the Hendrick Health System.
