It doesn’t get better than this: MCR receives Marriott’s highest honor for hospitality excellence, the Partnership Circle Award

January 09, 2019

What a dream team! MCR, the sixth-largest hotel owner-operator in the United States, has received Marriott’s Partnership Circle Award, the highest honor Marriott (NASDAQ:MAR) presents to its owner and franchise partners.

The Partnership Circle Award honors companies that share a mutual, long-term commitment to Marriott and fully live its vision — including focusing on employees to create a well-managed, inspired workforce and providing outstanding customer service.

Arne M. Sorenson, President and CEO of Marriott International, presented the award to the MCR team — which has invested in 60 Marriott-branded properties since 2006 — during the Marriott CONNECT Conference held at the San Diego Marriott Marquis December 17-19, 2018. MCR first won the Partnership Circle Award in 2015.

“We thank Marriott for recognizing us as a Partnership Circle Award recipient,” says Tyler Morse, CEO and Managing Partner of MCR. “This award belongs to every one of our 3,000 MCR team members — that includes the Acquisitions & Development and Operations teams that find and oversee our properties, as well as the general managers, housekeepers and others who work tirelessly to give each guest an exceptional experience.”

MCR recently opened the Courtyard by Marriott Dulles Airport Herndon in Virginia and the Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach in Florida. Both properties boast outstanding customer service and amenities — such as free fast Wi-Fi — that continue MCR and Marriott’s commitment to operating world-class hotels.
